Italian Buffalo Wings
This is a recipe that my mom starting making out of nowhere. It is now the only way I can eat wings, so naturally I had to learn.
Ingredients
- 5 lbs. Chicken Wings
- 3 Sticks Butter
- 1 Cup Frank's Red Hot
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 3 packets Good Seasonings All Natural Italian Dressing Mix
Tools
- Small Sauce Pan
- Deep Fryer
- Oil
- Cookie Sheet - must have sides
- Oven
- Aluminum Foil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Deep Fry Chicken Wings until crisp
- set wings in a single layer on cookie sheet
- Melt butter in Sauce Pan - low to medium heat butter burns easily
- Reduce heat to as low as possible
- Stir in Frank's Red Hot and Lemon Juice
- SLOWLY stir in Italian Dressing Mix
- Pour sauce over the wings - use of a spoon will make sure you cover every wing
- Cover cookie sheet with foil
- Put in oven for 1/2 hour
- uncover, turn wings, covering with sauce from cookie sheet
- bake for 10 minutes
